How To Improve Spoken English

I’d like to find a conversation partner to have time to speak English.
I’m going to ESL but I don’t have time to speak English because there are many people there.
I live in Houston.

i had asked & answered lot of questions by this as i have received complains about my terrible english. I don’t like to be made fun of.

any help?
I cant talk and read all the time because I live in the Dominican Republic and my official language is Spanish. Can’t help it.

and also, most of the libraries here dont sell books in english.

I’m a collage student, first year of english language. I want to improve my language (grammar, phonetics, reading, writing…etc.) I get bored easily, so telling to read a newspaper or something not my thing. If you know some good ways, or some interesting stories i can load it from the net that would be great. & if you know any websites to test my english too. Please share anything you know. Thank you

I am very good when it comes to writing english. I even got highest marks in english in my class. But the problem is that I can’t understand english very good. Watching english movies has helped me a bit. But I want to understand english completely and I also want to speak it clearly. I am afraid that if I speak it, people will not understand me.

I am still learning English at school but much is reading and writing. At the moment not much speaking is being done. Reading and writing are improving but many times there is no sense and people are confused!

I know a little bit of English. Not very much. I do try. When I talk to native English speaker, I am shy. I do not want to make mistake and be laughed at! How can I be more comfortable speaking English?
