where do you live? is there any area that needs a bookstore, bowling alley, donut shop, movie theatre, convenience store, electronics store, camera shop? how about setting up a co-op warehouse for a specialized group – artists? musician? small distributors?
1) think about what you see as a possible need in the community
2) what’s available to make it happen
3) do research, get an idea of worst case/best case scenarios
4) list what roadblocks you’d face
5) what else?
6) a feasibility study is like a scientific hypothesis, you may up proving that your hypothesis is not supportable
(it’s just to see if something is FEASIBLE, workable and hopefully profitable or beneficial in some way that you define up front)
there are a great number of activities that go through this process. some others? conventions/conferences? parades? festivals? any project that’s going to involve a network of communities, corporations and organizations.
