How To Improve Spoken English

Yeah Im 15 and i got my important exams coming up in a few weeks time, my english teacher told me i was failing because of my vocabulary, and sentence length.. how can i improve my english vocabulary, will reading dictionary help? thanks

It’s hard for me to speak english.

I would like to improve my english communication skills. English is not my first language. It seems like I know the language very well but when i’m talking to people it really gets hard for me. I feel like I really dont know many words to express myself. Like if I want to say something but just can’t. Is this normal? what should i do to become a better English speaker?
i do go to school…university level i’m getting my BS in Finance next yr. im 21

How can I improve my English speaking and writing power in grammitically correct ? If any easy way please let me know !

My English isn’t at all bad, quite good if I say so myself, but it’s not professional. My ambition is to become a professor of Biology, occasionally giving lectures, and this English simply won’t cut it.

Don’t get me wrong, I think my English is great for speaking, but It doesn’t sound like something that would come from a professor. It’s rather….. simplistic. I always end up using the dumbed down dialog.

I been in USA for about 5 years and i am feeel really bad because i dont dominate the ENGLISH language 100% probably about 85% i realized my verbals skills are bad my pronunciation of some words is really difficult i am still going to collge but i been there a year and is just the same. This is limiting me in so many ways like getting a better job or socialize more . What do you think is the best way to improve pronunciation skills i already took a pronun. class but it was useless ?

I’m going to ESL but I don’t have time to speak English because there are many people there.

I cant talk and read all the time because I live in the Dominican Republic and my official language is Spanish. Can’t help it.

and also, most of the libraries here dont sell books in english.
